SEL-701 Motor Protection Relay

SEL-701-1 Monitor

SEL-501 Dual Universal Overcurrent Relay
- Provides protection for two motors (using the SEL patented thermal model) when RTDs are not required.
- The motor thermal model automatically switches between starting and running conditions and requires only basic information about the motor.

The SEL-2600 RTD Module is being replaced by the new, fully compatible SEL-2600A RTD Module.
The SEL-2600 used a V-System connector with 200-micron optical fiber, our lowest cost fiber-optic communications option. The SEL-2600A also uses the V-System and adds an ordering option for a fiber connection using an ST connector for use with 62.5-micron optical fibers and the SEL-749M Motor Relay.

SEL-2600A RTD Module
The new SEL-2600A supports the following SEL products:
- SEL-701 Motor Relay: Built-in V-System connector for 200-micron fiber connection with the V-System version of the SEL-2600A
- SEL-300G, SEL-387A, SEL-421, SEL-2030, or SEL-2032: SEL-2800 Fiber-Optic Transceiver with the V-System version of the SEL-2600A
- SEL-749M Motor Relay: Built-in ST connector for 62.5-micron fiber connection with the ST version of the SEL-2600A
- Other improvements include conformal coating of the circuit board, which is standard on the SEL-2600A for enhanced environmental ruggedness, and a power supply with an improved capability to withstand surges.

- Replace expensive RTD cable pulls using a single fiber-optic cable.
